The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis offers citizenship by investment to foreigners who donate $150,000 (plus due diligence and processing fees) to its Sustainable Growth Fund for a single applicant. The Government recently announced a limited time discount of $25,000.00 for people who apply between January 30, 2023 and January 30, 2024. This reduces the donation to $125,000.00. A third option is to invest $400,000.00 in government approved private real estate . In this case, the holding period before you can sell it is 7 years.
On top of the investment costs, you will have to pay the government fees:
• main applicant: $35,050.00
• Spouse of the main applicant $20,050.00:
• A sibling of the applicant : $40,000.00
• Other dependents: $10.000.00
The real estate options take longer than the donation route because of the extra steps in finding and purchasing a property.
