Workers at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) voted in favour of strike action yesterday (Friday April 7, 2023).
The Public Service Alliance of Canada (“PSAC”) together with its taxation component, the Union of Taxation Employees (“UTE”), said in an press release on their website that the CRA workers voted “overwhelmingly” in favour of strike action.

CRA workers will be in a legal position to strike as of April 14, 2023.
UTE members work in such areas as Taxpayer Services, Collections, Audit, Enforcement, Appeals, the Legislative Policy and Regulatory Affairs Branch (LPRAB), Finance and Administration, Human Resources, and Information Technology (IT).
